Graduate Assistant Recruitment Timeline

We participate in the SAHE (Student Affairs in Higher Education Master's Degree program) interviews and timeline.

February 1-2, 8-9, 2018: On-campus interviews for Residence Life assistantships occur during SAHE's two-day interview days.

Early March 2018: Admission decisions are made

Mid-April 2018: Final decisions from selected candidates are due

Student Staff Recruitment Timeline (Resident Assistants, Inclusive Community Assistants, Community Desk Managers)

Interested in applying to be a Residence Life Student Staff member for Fall 2018? See the timeline below for more information.

September 11, 2017 - October 2, 2017: Registration opens for the Student Leadership class, held mid-October through mid-November of the Fall 2017 semester, which is required of all students applying for RA and ICA positions. Please note: CDMs are not required to take the ExCELS class.

October 16 - November 16, 2017: ExCELS Student Leadership class occurs.

December 15, 2017 at 11:59pm: Applications for all Fall 2018 student staff positions are due

February 17, 2018: Student Staff interviews occur to be considered for fall 2017 positions.

March 2018: Offer letters sent to applicants

August 2018: Training for new and returning student staff begins!
