The Department of Residence Life (DRL) is part of a larger and dynamic organization, Housing & Dining Services (HDS). DRL employs over 500 staff members from full-time and professional staff to graduate and undergraduate students.

Housing & Dining Services (HDS) is responsible for the management, finance, administration, and program development of all University housing facilities, including 14 residences halls (over 5,000 student residents), more than 800 University apartment units, and Mountain Campus, CSU’s mountain campus.

HDS is the largest department on campus, employing approximately 1,750 people. Of those, approximately 400 are full-time employees and 1,350 are students and hourly staff.
